just another day
It's my birthday today, but in reality it feels like any other day. From my perspective, the occasion of celebrating my birthday gets less and less as each year passes.
I wonder why that is the case. As a kid, I would look forward to my birthday because it felt like a special day just for me. But now I realise that today is just another regular day shared by a million other people who were also born on this day.
